Hi, I am Goranka

Hi, I'm Goranka!

I'm a nurse practitioner, a wife, a mom, and a woman who's had her share of life's unexpected turns.

For years, I was the one taking care of everyone else. Between work, family, and responsibilities, I became very good at getting things done. But somewhere along the way, I lost touch with myself.

Life taught me that you can be doing everything you're supposed to do and still feel like something is missing.

For me, gratitude became a way to reconnect. Not because life suddenly became easier, but because I began paying attention to what was still meaningful, even in the middle of the mess.

That experience, combined with everything I've learned about the brain, became the foundation for LetSoul.

A place where science meets real life, and where women can begin finding their way back to themselves.

What 25+ Years in Neuroscience Have Taught Me

I found my way into neuroscience by chance, and more than 25 years later, the human brain still fascinates me.

But some of my greatest lessons haven't come from textbooks. They've come from sitting at the bedside, caring for patients and families through illness, uncertainty, loss, and some of life's most difficult moments.

I've learned how deeply our experiences can shape the way we think, respond, and see ourselves.

And I've seen how important it is to understand what's happening beneath the surface instead of judging ourselves for how we feel.

With nearly 30 years in healthcare and additional training in Lifestyle Medicine and Wellness Coaching through Harvard Medical School, I bring together science, patient care, and lived experience.

Because understanding the brain is powerful. Learning how to work with it is where meaningful change begins.

Why Gratitude Is More Than a Feeling

I've always believed that gratitude isn't about pretending everything is wonderful.

It's about learning to notice what's meaningful, even when life is complicated.

Our brains naturally pay attention to potential problems and threats. And when we're overwhelmed, it can become harder to notice the good that's happening around us.

Gratitude gives us a way to practice directing our attention toward what we appreciate, without ignoring what's difficult.

That's why I created the MAP Method: Moment. Appreciate. Pause.

A simple practice to help you notice a moment, appreciate what it means to you, and take a little time to let it register.

It's one of the ways we bring neuroscience into everyday life at LetSoul.

Because sometimes changing what you notice can begin changing how you experience your day.

Your Story Is Still Yours

If there's one thing I hope you take away from LetSoul, it's this:

You are more than your responsibilities, your past experiences, or the habits you've developed along the way.

You can learn to understand yourself differently. You can question beliefs that no longer serve you. And you can begin making choices that reflect who you are and what matters to you now.

That's the heart of LetSoul.

Whether it's through gratitude journaling, personal coaching, or a meaningful workshop, my hope is to help you reconnect with yourself and start enjoying the life you're working so hard to build.

Your story is still yours. And you get to decide what comes next.
