Hi, I am Goranka

I'm a nurse practitioner, a wife, a mom, and a woman who's lived through a lot of different chapters — some beautiful, some heartbreaking, and some that completely changed the direction of my life.

For a long time, I was the one taking care of everyone else. I showed up, handled what needed to be done, and kept moving forward. On the outside, everything looked fine.

But somewhere along the way, I lost touch with myself.

Maybe you know that feeling too.

Not because anything is terribly wrong. Just because life gets busy. Between work, family, responsibilities, and caring for everyone around you, it's easy to forget that you matter too.

For me, gratitude journaling became my way home.

Not in a perfect, "everything changed overnight" kind of way. It was simply a few minutes each day to pause, breathe, and notice what was still good. Over time, those small moments changed the way I saw my life, my story, and myself.

That's why I created LetSoul.

A place for women to slow down, reconnect with who they are, and remember that their story matters too.

Through gratitude, reflection, and practical tools grounded in both neuroscience and real life, my hope is to help you find your way home to yourself — one small moment at a time.

I'm so glad you're here.

25+ Years in the Science of the Brain

Here's what makes LetSoul different.

It wasn't created from a book, a certification, or a trend on social media. It grew out of real life and nearly 30 years of caring for people through some of their hardest moments.

As a nurse practitioner with a background in neuroscience, I've spent decades sitting with people facing stress, uncertainty, illness, loss, and major life changes. I've seen firsthand what chronic stress does to the brain and body— and I've also seen how small, consistent practices can help people heal, adapt, and move forward.

That's why I'm so passionate about gratitude.

Not because it's positive thinking. And not because it makes life's challenges disappear.

Because it changes what your brain pays attention to.

To deepen this work, I completed Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching training through Harvard Medical School, combining evidence-based coaching tools with everything I've learned from years at the bedside.

Why Gratitude — and Why It's Not Just a Feeling

What I want every woman to know is this: you're not overwhelmed because you're failing. You're overwhelmed because you've been carrying so much for so long.

I've seen firsthand what chronic stress does to women — especially the ones holding everything together. It doesn't just wear us down.

It keeps the nervous system on high alert, pulls your focus down to a pinhole, and feeds that inner voice: I'm not enough. I'm too old. It's too late.

The good news is that the brain can learn something different. Gratitude is one of the few practices shown to shift the brain out of survival mode and open you back up to clarity, calm, and connection. The science is real — and it works in minutes, not months.

That's the whole idea behind the MAP Method — Moment, Appreciate, Pause to Savor. A simple daily practice that works with your brain, not against it.

Your Story Is Still Yours

Writing has always been how I've made sense of my life. It turns chaos into clarity, doubt into confidence, messiness into meaning.

That's what LetSoul is really about — giving you back the pen. Reclaiming your voice, your clarity, and your story, a few minutes at a time.

Wherever you are right now, there's a way home to yourself. Let's begin.
